Our client in Peterhead is looking for a hard working Engineering Assistant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will support the marine engineers and have a background in a marine or engineering environment.

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 0800 - 1630 with overtime available.

Responsibilities

• Assist the marine engineers and work alongside them closely

• Working to health and safety regulations at all times

• Keeping work areas clean and tidy

• Driving between various workshops across Aberdeenshire when required

• All other labouring tasks as required

Requirements

• Clean driving licence

• Forklift experience up to 5 tonne, certificate desirable but not essential

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills within the engineering field.
