engineering delivery project manager
We have a fantastic new opportunity for an Engineering Delivery Project Manager to join our established client in Peterhead on a full time permanent basis.
As an Engineering Delivery Project Manager, you’ll drive the successful delivery of a wide and varied range of projects including those stemming from our maintenance, strategy and master planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for a series of projects, the role will be delivering projects ranging in complexity up to £5m in value.
Working as part of a small engineering team, acting as the Project lead from conception to handover. Developing robust and safe concepts and/or solutions is a key requirement for this position and project delivery procedures.
Lead in planning and delivering design-and-build activities, including overseeing the commissioning.
Develop and produce tender packages according to strict protocol.
Accountable for developing the projects and documentation for submission through the Governance process to achieve the correct funding to deliver the project as required by the organisation.
Work with the team to achieve the time and cost targets.
Work with and indirectly manage a wider team of multi-function maintenance personnel, and key suppliers.
Competent in risk management, including risk identification, mitigation, and control. A key requirement for this position is the ability to de-risk and add value during the outline design stage.
Provide Project Assurance during the delivery, commissioning and handover of assets.
Capable of working on several projects and managing the works awarded to Internal stakeholders, framework suppliers/contractors and external consultants.
Essential skills, knowledge & experience:
Degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
Experience in civil, mechanical or marine engineering projects
Experience and knowledge of end-to-end project delivery process.
Knowledge in technical, commissioning and construction assurance.
Experience and knowledge in developing tender packages according to strict protocol.
A current UK Driving Licence
